Dimmick Memorial Library in Jim Thorpe has announced the following events for April.

• Story-time is happening in-person every Tuesday from 10 a.m. at the Dimmick Memorial Library.

The schedule will be April 5 theme: Rain Rain, April 12 theme: Easter Bunnies, April 19 theme: Butterflies and Caterpillars, and April 26 theme- Gardening.

• Penn Kidder Library Center is hosting a fun Spring Scavenger Hunt at their library.

They are located at 2588 Route 903, Albrightsville.

Find the nine bunnies dressed up as book characters hidden around the library and simply write their names or draw their costumes. Entries have a chance to win a prize.

• Board of Directors meeting is on April 12 at 5:30 p.m. at the Library.

• The Dimmick Book Club will be meeting on April 13 via Zoom. Email the library to get more information.

• The Coaltown Crafters will be meeting on April 14 at 6 p.m. in the library. Newcomers are always welcome.

• The Dimmick Readers Circle will start meeting on April 21 at 6 p.m. in the library.

They will meet on the third Thursdays of every month to discuss a love for books. This new group is looking for excited members.

• The Friends of the Library are hosting a Booksale on April 23 from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. in the library.
