State police at the Stroudsburg barracks said a 33-year-old Brodheadsville man is facing charges of driving while his license is suspended and driving under the influence of a controlled substance.
Police made a traffic stop at 9:38 a.m. March 28 at the intersection of Paradise Trail and Wicks Lane in Stroud Township.
Police said they stopped the 2013 Ford Fusion and learned that the man’s driver’s license is suspended.
Police did not release the driver’s name.
After determining he was under the influence, police took him to the Monroe County Correctional Facility, Snydersville, for processing.
