Three people identified in Route 33 fatal crash

The Northampton County coroner has identified the three people killed in a crash early Thursday morning on Route 33 in Bushkill Township.

State Police responded to the scene just before 1:30 a.m. where they found a 2007 Freightliner M21, operated by a 32-year-old man from Oak Ridge, New Jersey, and a 2017 Toyota RAV 4 involved in the crash. All three occupants in the Toyota RAV 4 were killed from the crash.

The coroner identified the driver of the Toyota RAV 4 as Alexis Robinson, a 39-year-old woman. The front passenger was her husband, Darrell Robinson, 42-year-old, and the rear passenger was their daughter, Tahlia, 16.

The cause of death for all three, who were from Blakeslee, was multiple blunt force injuries, the coroner’s office reported, and the manner of death was accident.

Route 33 northbound traffic was detoured at the Belfast exit and the scene was cleared at approximately 9:30 a.m. and all lanes were back open.

Assisting the Belfast barracks with the investigation are the Troop M Collision Analysis Reconstruction Unit, Troop M Forensic Services Unit, Northampton County District Attorney’s Office, Northampton County Coroner’s Office, Fast Lane Towing and the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation.
