American Legion Post 314, Lehighton, honored 11 veterans for 60 years of continuous membership and four others who attained 50 years of continuous membership during a program held at the refurbished meeting room of the post home.

The 60-year members include Grant G. Arner Jr., Forrest C. Beers, Ernest E. Blocker, Chester G. Frantz, William C. Harleman, Earl W. Kimmel, Robert A. Kistler, Richard C. Metzger, John E. Reichard, William E. Sanders and Alfred J. Smith.

Fifty-year members honored include Arthur A. Berger, Paul H. Evans, Joel N. Heintzelman and Clarence Webb Jr.

The members were presents certificates by Parliamentarian Harry Wynn III, assisted by Commander Floyd Brown.
