– Northwestern rides a triple-victory performance by John Jupin (100, 200, triple jump) and double wins by Matt Westenhoefer (mile, two-mile) and Mike Yost (100 and 300 hurdles) to cruise to its first victory of the track and field season, a 106-43 win over Saucon Valley. The Tigers also pick up firsts in all three relay events, including the 3200 relay team of Quinlan, Westenhoefer, Chet Schwoyer and Matt Bivans, while Schwoyer wins the 400, Bivans, the 800, and John Galdieri, the discus.
