Improved lighting at its annex building is on West Penn Township’s to-do list.
Board Chairman Tony Prudenti said at Monday morning’s board of supervisors meeting the lighting needs to be enhanced.
“When the (West Penn Township) Lions (Club) use the annex building at night, they’re having trouble seeing in the parking lot,” Prudenti said.
It was agreed the board will look to get a price for the lighting.
Also on Monday, supervisors accepted the resignation of road crew member Connor Evans, effective April 1.
Evans resigned because he received full-time employment elsewhere.
Supervisor Glenn Hummel praised Evans for his work.
“He’ll be missed,” Hummel said. “He’s a good worker.”
Finally, the board agreed to sell its 2006 Chevy Colorado for $6,500 on Municibid.
