Avid birder and wildlife photographer Thomas Buehl Jr., will lead two bird walks at Locust Lake State Park in Barnesville, Schuylkill County.

The first one will be April 16 and the other on May 12.

Both walks will begin at the parking lot at 8 a.m.

Buehl will offer helpful information about how to identify the local and migratory songbirds by sight, song, habitat and behavior. Those attending are encouraged to bring along binoculars.
