Shepherd House

The Shepherd House will be distributing food on March 26 from 10 a.m. to noon at Zions Lutheran Church in Weatherly at the corner of Fell Street and 335 Third St. in Weatherly. Come to the side door of the church on Fell Street.

In case of emergency food needs, please contact Charles Hettler at 570-427-8981. If there is no answer, leave your name and phone number on the answering machine and Charles will get back to you.

Library news

Weatherly Area Community Library announces the following:

Spring Fling at the library on May 14 is a day for families at the library. More information to follow.

The annual library auction will be Oct. 1. Preview will be on Sept. 30.

The library is searching for donations of Legos in hopes of starting a Lego club for children at the library. If you have Legos to donate, please drop them off at the library.

Book Club will be held on March 24 at 7 p.m. Call the library for book information 570-427-5085.

Story time for children is April 8 from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m.
