State police in Lehighton report on incidents

State police at Lehighton reported on the following incidents:

• On Feb. 26 at 9:14 p.m. troopers responded to a residence along Little Gap Road in Lower Towamensing Township, Carbon County, for a someone outside the residence of a 23-year-old man from Kunkletown.

As a result David Gelegonya, 41, of Palmerton, were received a non-traffic citation for disorderly conduct after it was determined that he began an argument with the victim.

• On March 13 at 1:46 p.m. troopers were dispatched to Little Gap Road in Lower Towamensing Township for a domestic-related incident. A 45-year-old woman from Palmerton told police that Jeffrey Fisher, 61, of Palmerton, had shoved her. He was issued a non-traffic citation for harassment - physical contact.

• On March 12 at 2:41 a.m. along Forest Inn Road, in Lower Towamensing Township, a fight occurred. A 23-year-old man from Palmerton, who troopers declined to identify, was taken into custody. He was also in possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia. He was charged with simple assault and other counts and arraigned before a district judge and placed in the county prison in Nesquehoning.
