A Pocono area landmark was destroyed by fire last night and fire company officials are calling the blaze suspicious.

Gilotti’s Gateway Lodge, operated by Mountain Greenery, was leveled by the blaze, which saw flames shooting 50 feet or higher into the air. During the blaze, several explosives could be heard being detonated.

Kramer Grover, who resides next to the lodge, told officials he was sitting at his kitchen table when he heard an explosion, looked outside and saw flames shooting from the rear of the building.
