A Tamaqua man is facing charges following incidents in February.

Borough police said David Ruben Green, 69, of Mauch Chunk Street, has been charged with theft from a motor vehicle, a misdemeanor 3; and a summary offense of disorderly conduct.

Police said on Feb. 22 a female victim who resides in the 100 block of Washington Street reported for the past few days an older man walked past her house and looked in her vehicle. On Feb. 22 the man was observed, around 12:14 p.m., trying to open the door handle on her vehicle, which was locked. She said similar incidents occurred on Feb. 18 and 21. All the incidents were recorded by the victim on her Ring camera.

As a result, police filed the charges.
