Primelending, c/o 18111 Preston Road, Dallas, Texas, filed an action against Holly and Kyle Gueder, 234 Rex Road, Lehighton, over property at that address. Sought is $107,579.33 and continuing interest.

Loan defaults

First Commonwealth Federal Credit Union, 6126 Hamilton Blvd., Allentown, filed an action against Michael Eugene Brunell Jr., 260 Winter Mountain Road, Lehighton, alleging he defaulted on a loan and security agreement to purchase two motor vehicles.

Sought is $25,889.58 plus interest, costs and fees.

First Commonwealth filed an action against Timothy J. and Mary K. Patterson, 17 Placid Lane, Albrightsville, alleging they defaulted on a retail installment sale contract for a motor vehicle purchase.

Sought is $6,148.40 plus interest, costs and fees.

Bill for services

The Trustees of the University of Pennsylvania, c/o 3451 Walnut St., Philadelphia, filed an action against William Summers, 79 Hemlock Drive, Jim Thorpe, alleging he owes a bill for services rendered by the plaintiff.

Sought is $11,371.56 plus interest, costs and fees.

Slip/fall suit

Judith and Joseph Veron, 16 E. Foster Ave., Coaldale, filed a civil action against Pencor Services Inc., 613 Third St. Palmerton; and Tam Realty Inc., 601 Columbia Ave., Palmerton.

The suit states the defendants “owned, controlled, maintained and/or possessed” property at 502 Delaware Ave., Palmerton.

The suit states on Nov. 19, 2020, Judith Veron was walking on the sidewalk of the subject property when she was caused to slip and fall allegedly due to dangerous conditions of the property, outlined in the suit.

Sought are damages in excess of $50,000 on each of two counts.

Crash suit

Macy L. Litchauer, of 11 Chestnut Ridge Circle, Kunkletown, filed a civil action against Jason D. Benscoter and Jessica L. Jones, 405 Lonesome Lane, Palmerton, over an automobile crash.

The suit states on June 15, 2020, the plaintiff was operating a 2007 Subaru Forester southbound on Little Gap Road, when defendant, Benscoter, driving a 2015 Nissan Pathfinder, which was owned by defendant Jones, was also southbound on Little Gap Road. The suit alleges Benscoter attempted to pass Litchauer and quickly drove his vehicle back over into the southbound lane and cut in front of Litchauer. Litchauer was unable to stop quickly enough and ended up colliding with the vehicle driven by Benscoter.

Negligence is alleged against Benscoter for the crash and the injuries sustained by the plaintiff, which are detailed in the suit. Sought are damages in excess of $50,000.
