Fire companies from Mahoning Township and Lehighton were on scene Wednesday morning on 1400 block along Blakeslee Boulevard in Mahoning Township.

An employee of Yurconic called 911 to report an odor of hot electric wires. Fire crews were dispatched at 9:30 a.m. to the structure housing numerous businesses, including the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation licensing center and the Yurconic Insurance and vehicle registration services.
