Do the winter blues have you itching to get into spring gardening? Get a jump on the season, and join the Penn State Extension Master Gardeners of Carbon County for their upcoming workshop, “It’s Time to Plant!”
The program is scheduled for March 12 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Lehigh Gap Nature Center.
Presentation topics include:
• Growing tomatoes and peppers from seed (supplies included!)
• Re-Nature Your Yard
• Pollination: From Anther to Stigma
• Herb Gardening
This workshop is perfect for gardeners of all experience levels. Participants are asked to bring their own bagged lunch; morning refreshments and drinks will be provided.
Cost is $15 per person, and registration is required.
