Letter to the editor: Dangers of DEI, CRT

Dear Editor,

The Marxist/Socialist platforms known as DEI (diversity, equity, inclusion) and CRT (critical race theory) are very close cousins. Where you find one, the other will be nearby. In fact, these cousins are so close they share not only the same political ideology, but the same bloodline going back to Karl Marx and his 1848 Communist Manifesto.

DEI and CRT have a common goal. They openly and proudly admit their hatred of the American way of life, and their intent to rip apart the historic fabric of American society. They plan to replace it with a communist-style Marxist/Socialist society, in which there is no Bill of Rights and the state controls every aspect of American life. Simply put, DEI and CRT are as dangerous as pit vipers and they intend to destroy America as we know it.

What many don’t realize is that Marxist-inspired DEI and CRT philosophy isn’t new to American society. It’s been flourishing right under our collective noses all along; we’ve simply failed to smell the poison. DEI and CRT dogma has festered for decades in our halls of academia, in our halls of justice, and in the halls of our state capitol buildings from coast to coast. We are only now seeing stark evidence of its strong foothold in the conference rooms of Fortune 500 corporations. And, most egregiously, we are witnessing the day-to-day abuse of our K-12 school children in the name of DEI and CRT.

For years, mainstream America - the real America - has either ignored or dismissed these propagandists as absurd but harmless fanatics, believing they were confined primarily to the political science departments of left-leaning colleges and universities. Many have viewed these people as just kooky ACLU bohemians, more of a joke than any real threat. We couldn’t have been more wrong. Our naive and laissez-faire attitude toward DEI and CRT’s metastasizing cancer has resulted in America now teetering on the brink of destruction from within. We are very close to the point of no return. And it will take a herculean effort on everyone’s part to stop it.
