Carbon County has changed its masking policy for employees and visitors.
On Thursday, the county commissioners announced that the mask requirement ended this week.
Commissioners’ Chairman Wayne Nothstein said the new policy follows the CDC guidelines for masking, which were relaxed on Friday after COVID cases have been steadily decreasing.
Nothstein said that if someone in a county office tests positive for COVID, they will need to wear the mask for the CDC recommended period once they return.
