Carbon County has reached an agreement with another of its unions.
On Thursday, the county commissioners approved a collective bargaining agreement with the Court Appointed Professional Employees, AFSCME, AFL-CIO District Council 87, Local 2483 for one year, ending Dec. 31.
The contract provides a 3 percent wage increase for those in the union, as well as increases in starting wages in three departments.
Those include increasing the starting domestic relations officer rate to $16 per hour and adult and juvenile probation to $18 per hour.
The terms of the contract also increase the adult probation hours per weeks from 35 to 37.5 with a half-hour for lunch.
There are no changes to the employee health insurance premium copays or out-of-pocket prescription copays.
The union currently covers 22 employees in adult and juvenile probation, as well as domestic relations.
