The Jim Thorpe girls basketball team reached the finals of the District 11 Class 4A tournament with a 63-42 victory over North Schuylkill on Wednesday night.

In other playoff action, the Lehighton girls fell to Central Catholic, 36-21, in a 4A semifinal game, and the Palmerton boys dropped a 65-27 decision to Executive Education in a 3A semifinal.
