The Rev. Wilbur C. Albright, pastor of St. Paul’s United Church of Christ, Summit Hill, has announced his resignation to accept a call to Solomon’s United Church of Christ, Macungie, a congregation of about 700 members.

Albright, who has served the Summit Hill parish since 1969, will begin his new duties in May.

During his time in Summit Hill, the well-known pastor has been involved in numerous civic endeavors, including the chamber of commerce, Area Agency on Aging and the citizen’s advisory committee of the Panther Valley School District.
