State police at Schuylkill Haven reported on the following crashes investigated by troopers on Schuylkill County roadways:
• A two-vehicle crash occurred at 2:16 p.m. on Feb. 14 along Manheim Road in North Manheim Township. Troopers said Timothy W. Miller, 33, of Hamburg, driving a 2015 Nissan Versa, was stopped on the road just north of the intersection with East Main Street, waiting in a line of traffic when Terry L. Bensinger, 81, of Schuylkill Haven, driving a 2014 Dodge Caravan, pulled behind Miller and struck the rear of Miller’s vehicle. No injuries were reported.
Both drivers were cited. Bensinger was cited for driving a vehicle at a unsafe speed and Miller for registration and certificate of title required.
• A hit-and-run crash was reported at 3 a.m. on Feb. 14 along Route 61 in North Manheim Township. Troopers said Joseph T. Greene, 53, of Schuylkill Haven, was operating a 2012 Ford F150 truck and approached a 2010 Dodge Caravan, which was parked in a lot of the Red, White & Blue Auto Sales. The truck struck the Caravan while Greene was attempting a three-point turn. His vehicle struck the parked vehicle twice.
Greene then left the scene. Through an investigation troopers were able to locate Greene. He was charged with duty to give information and render aid and accidents involving damage to unattended vehicle or property.
