Carbon County commissioners

The Carbon County Commissioners approved the following items during their weekly meeting last week.

• Dulcey Electric and Insulation of Weatherly will replace a generator at the Penn State Extension Office with a new 22 kilowatt Generac generator. The total cost for the project is $11,260.

• Mechanical Service Company of Pittston will perform annual inspections on 12 generators at various county sites. The cost is $5,895 for the year.

• A request from the Area Agency on Aging administrator for a hospital community showcase agreement with Innovare Medical Media for a 20-second advertisement at St. Luke’s Carbon Campus’ surgery waiting screen beginning April 1. The contract will cost $200 a month for 12 months.

The commissioners said the reason for the advertisement is to explain all the services Area Agency on Aging has to offer the older population in the county.

• The ninth amendment to a contract with Delta Development Group Inc. of Camp Hill that was originally signed on Feb. 19, 2015. The amendment extends the contract for one year to March 9, 2023, at a cost of $2,700 per month.
