February 25, 2012 - A big fourth quarter by Celeste Robinson helps Jim Thorpe pull out a 59-51 victory over Blue Mountain in the quarterfinal round of the District 11 Class 3A basketball playoffs. Robinson scores 14 of her game-high 29 points in the final period as the Olympians, coached by Rob Kovac, turn a one-point deficit into a trip to the semifinals. Robinson also pulls down 12 rebounds, including six in the last frame. The winners receive 13 points from Kristin Lawrence, who hits a key three-pointer with the game tied in the fourth, and seven from Jeanna McElmoyle.
