I don’t understand the way people get behind Donald Trump and his way of trying to run our country. You know your fathers, grandfathers and great-grandfathers went off and fought wars to defend our country for your right to vote, regardless of race, color or creed! We’re letting this person take our country down the road to ruin. Trump cares nothing about you, unless you’re a billionaire on his donor list.

Trump is nothing more than a washed-up game show host filled with persuasive innuendos, repeating them over and over until even “he” starts to believe them, and then uses his bully pulpit to lure people in fed up with our nonfunctioning government.

Trump cannot accept defeat. He would rather create a civil war than say “I lost,” (which he did). Eight million fewer votes than President Biden, along with 70 electoral seats. I faced up to it, why can’t he?

I am a Republican, I guess a “RINO” by name, because I could not back Trump knowing his past. He was telling everyone six months before the election that it was rigged (if he lost).

I feel bad for all the people that will go through hell for the next year or so. Following his instruction to go to the Capitol that day. These people really thought they were defending our democracy. “Now think about it.” While Trump was in office, he installed judges in the places he would need in case of an election recount. He even had the Supreme Court stacked in his favor. If Trump had a viable chance, I think at least one of these appointees would have backed him. (Not even one!) and do you know why? Because the election was fair and legal.

I highly recommend we put our support behind Ron DeSantis because I think he would have a better chance to win. He also seems to be the guy that won’t cower to Trump. Remember Trump lost big in 2020, do we want to repeat that and give the Dems four more years!
