Man charged with child porn

A Nothampton County man is facing multiple sexual abuse charges after state police found large quantities of child pornography videos on a device at his home.

State police said its Computer Crime Unit received a Snapchat CyberTip which a user uploaded an apparent child pornography video. Snapchat provided an Internet Protocol address that was used by the suspect to upload the video.

Search warrants were secured for subscriber information which led to Angel Colon Rossy, 31, of Easton. A search warrant found an iPhone 8 plus, which had about 2,000 files of child pornography, 2,100 files of child erotica and child exploitation material, which includes children likely under the age of 18 in various stages of undress as well as age difficult depictions, were found.

Other messaging applications showed the exchanging of child exploitation material files and links.

Juvenile victims’ files were shown in various stages of undress, being inappropriately touched.

He was charged with dissemination photo/film of child sex acts, child pornography and criminal use of communication facility. The first two counts are felony 2s and the third a felony 3.

He is in prison, troopers said, pending a preliminary hearing.
