A Carbon County man was one of two people arrested on Feb. 1 when state police at Hazleton vice unit served a search warrant on a residence along Manor Drive at Phillips Street, in Stroud Township, Monroe County.

A 30-year-old man from Jim Thorpe and a 35-year-old woman from Jersey Shore, Lycoming County, were in the home. Troopers declined to identify the suspects. Both had active warrants and were taken into custody. Also found in the residence were narcotics and narcotic packaging materials. Charges are pending.
