West Penn Township supervisors took the following action Monday morning:
• Agreed to spend $8,550 on water treatment for the township’s municipal building through the township’s American Rescue Funds.
• Agreed to spend an amount not to exceed $6,735 on water treatment for the township’s police department building through the township’s American Rescue Funds.
• Agreed to rehire Richton Penn as a part-time police officer.
• Adopted a resolution appointing Jones & Company as the township’s Certified Public Accountant firm to conduct the 2021 audit for the township.
• Appointed Treasurer Karen Wittig as township pension administrator.
• Agreed to advertise the Chevy Colorado for sale on Municibid.
