Panther Valley senior Sadie Trubilla will continue her academic and athletic careers at Cedar Crest College, where she will participate on the track and field team.

Trubilla will become a four-year member of the Panthers’ team this spring, competing in the javelin, shot put and discus.

The PV thrower has posted top distances of 95-6 in the javelin, 24-7 in the shot put, and 64-7 in the discus.

Trubilla participated in the Schuylkill League meet as a freshman and sophomore, and competed at districts as a junior.

The daughter of Russell and Lisa Trubilla, Sadie also was a member of PV’s volleyball team and also participates in Student Council, Panthers Step up, Harmony Scholars, Aspire, and National Honor Society.

She plans to major in biology.
