A Schuylkill County business is reporting damages of $30,000 following an incident that occurred recently.

Troopers said on Feb. 2 at 11 p.m. a Hispanic man wearing eye glasses and a coat with a blue hooded sweatshirt approached the McDonald’s restaurant drive-thru window, located off Route 61 in North Manheim Township, and requested free food. The male then walked back to the drive-thru where the electronic menus were located and picked up a rock and threw it at the menu.

The damages to the electronic menu were estimated at $30,000, according to McDonald’s.
