St. Luke’s University Health Network has launched a weekly podcast, “Pivotal Discourse Podcast,” to provide listeners with informative and entertaining conversations about topics of importance in today’s world.

Each show will feature prominent voices with roots in the Lehigh Valley including professional athletes, actors, business leaders, medical professionals and more.

The first podcast, “COVID-19 and Lessons from History with Dr. Jeffrey Jahre,” features an interview with Dr. Jahre, Senior Vice President of Medical and Academic Affairs and Section Chief Emeritus of Infectious Diseases for SLUHN.

During the 68-minute podcast, Jahre discusses navigating COVID-19 as a health network, personal protective equipment shortages, vaccines, lessons from history that are still relevant today, and his interests outside of medicine which include horses.
