Schuylkill County will pay more for autopsies in 2022.

Commissioners approved a contract with Dr. Wayne Ross, an independent contractor, for requested autopsies. The increase amounts to an extra $550 each autopsy, bring the cost to $2,700 for the time period of Jan. 1, 2022, through Dec. 31. In 2021, the cost was $2,150 per autopsy.
