Ross Township supervisors

In other business, the Ross Township supervisors discussed the following:

• The next supervisors meeting is March 7 at 6 p.m. Supervisors voted in January to change the monthly meeting time from 7 to 6 p.m.

• The annual community Easter egg hunt will be held at the Ross Township Park on Saturday, April 16 at 1 p.m.

• Supervisors’ monthly meetings will be posted to Facebook after the meeting ends. Supervisor Randy Detrick said the Wi-Fi has been a constant issue when he tried to livestream the meeting. To upgrade would cost the township $30 more a month, and he said the cost is not worth it.

• Road Foreman Ethan Brewer is gathering a list of roads for summer black topping and lining. He will give the proposed list to the supervisors at the March meeting so they can get their bid paperwork together. Roadwork typically begins in June.

• Martha Rizzoli, a member of the Ross Township Historical Society, asked when the repairs to the annex building would be made and when the sign for it will be completed. The building has been off-limits for about two years due to broken steps and other issues. She said the historical society hopes to have a spring open house there. Shay said he will provide a detailed update on the progress of repairs and the completion of the sign at the March meeting.
