Clay St., Tamaqua, has been charged with defiant trespass and public drunkenness for an incident on Feb. 1 at 10:15 p.m. Officers were dispatched to Fegley’s Mini Market on Center Street for a man banging on the front windows. Officers saw Zver in the parking lot. He was cooperative but appeared to be unsteady on his feet and under the influence of something.
Zver denied banging on the window. A clerk at the store told officers she served Zver with a letter earlier in the night that he was not allowed on the property. Officers said they observed Zver walk across the lot toward Center Street. A short time later he returned and entered the store. Officers stopped Zver as he left the store and told him he was under arrest for trespassing and public intoxication. He was taken into custody and he had a crumbled up piece of paper which was the letter the clerk had given him earlier.
• Dillon Scott Buskirk, 32, of Bath, Northampton County, has been charged with driving while license is suspended or revoked, fraudulent use/removal of a registration plate, registration and certificate of title required and required financial responsibility.
Police said on Feb. 4 at 11 a.m. officers were monitoring traffic at the Speedway Service Station along Center Street when a sport utility vehicle was observed traveling northbound. A check of the registration plate found a “tag only record.”
Police stopped the vehicle and the driver was identified as Buskirk. He admitted the plate on the car was not for that vehicle and that his driver’s license was under suspension. Police discovered the car did not have a valid registration and Buskirk did not have any paperwork for the vehicle including any record of having insurance.
Buskirk and his passengers got out of the vehicle and officers had the vehicle towed. He was then issued citations.
