SS. Peter and Paul Parish announces the following events:

Holy sacrifice

The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass is offered on the Lord’s Day at SS. Peter and Paul Parish by Father Christopher M. Zelonis, assisted by Deacon Joseph C. Wilhelm Jr., on Saturdays at 4 p.m. and Sundays at 7:45 a.m. and 10 a.m. Daily Masses are on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays at 8 a.m. Father Zelonis offers the Sacrament of Reconciliation (Confession) 45 minutes before Masses on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.

Parish events

During the painting of the church interior, for approximately six weeks, Masses, Confessions, and all other parish events will take place in the school hall. Mask wearing is strongly encouraged because of the spatial restrictions and the current wave of the pandemic.

Super Bowl bingo

Super Bowl LVI Bingo takes place on 1 p.m. Feb. 13 at in the parish hall (snow date Feb 20). Doors open at 11:45 a.m.; bingo starts at 1 p.m. $15 for packages only. Food and refreshments available. At this event we will hold the drawing of the Super Bowl Sweepstakes. Tickets are available at the rectory and after Masses.

Cooks with Collars

Father Zelonis and Mike Gonzalez are representing SSPP in Cooks With Collars, an online cooking competition to raise funds for parishes and Catholic charities in the Diocese of Allentown. Visit www.cookswithcollars.com to see priests from around the diocese creating delicious kitchen concoctions. Vote through March 1 for our diocesan top chef. Each vote is just $10. All voting proceeds benefit the parish of that priest.

Doughnut sale

Our St. Vincent de Paul Society is sponsoring a Krispy Kreme Donut Sale. Original glazed, $9 per dozen; chocolate iced, $8 per half-dozen; cream-filled, $8 per half-dozen. Orders and payment due Feb. 20; pick up Feb. 26 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the parish hall. Call the rectory to place your order.
