PPL Corporation and its employees and retirees stood tall together to raise over $5 million - a record-breaking amount - during the company’s annual United Way campaign.

The campaign supports United Way agencies across central and eastern Pennsylvania and in New York City, where PPL’s Safari Energy subsidiary is headquartered.

PPL’s 2021 United Way campaign included more than $2.5 million in contributions from employees and retirees.

The PPL Foundation provided more than $2.5 million in a dollar-for-dollar match of all employee and retiree giving.

A record 140 employees also volunteered to lend a hand in the community during the United Way’s Day of Caring in September.
