State police at Frackville are investigating a burglary at a Schuylkill County home.

Troopers said a 29-year-old man from West Cherry Street in Shenandoah reported his home was entered through an unlocked basement door. Once inside the intruders stole a safe, lockbox and other items from a bedroom.

It appears they left the home through the basement door they originally entered.

The incident occurred sometime between 5:36 p.m. on Jan. 23 and 3:08 a.m. on Jan. 24.
