Carbon County court — ARD

Twelve defendants in pending driving under the influence cases, were placed in Carbon County’s Accelerated Rehabilitation Disposition probation program on Friday by Judge Steven R. Serfass.

If a person successfully completes all conditions of the program, their record will be wiped clean. However, if they fail to complete it, or are revoked from it, then they would face trial on all pending charges. A person does not admit guilt in entering the program.

All were placed for a year.

Terri Sue Kates, 50, of Jim Thorpe, was arrested on Aug. 14, 2021, by state police at Fern Ridge for DUI of alcohol.

She was assessed $500 for the cost of the program and ordered to render 50 hours of community service and license suspended for 30 days.

Nathan R. Laudenslager, 46, of Brodheadsville, was arrested on May 30, 2021, by Lehighton police of DUI of alcohol.

He was assessed $550 and ordered to render 50 hours of community service and license suspended for 60 days.

Kimberly Ann Mashinski, 46, of Jim Thorpe, was arrested on June 19, 2021, by Jim Thorpe police for DUI of alcohol.

She was assessed $550, ordered to render 50 hours of community service and make total restitution of $8,247.95 for damages due to a crash.

Adrianne Elizabeth Dietrich, 24, of Slatington, was arrested on March 12, 2021, by state police at Lehighton for DUI of alcohol.

She was assessed $550 and ordered to render 50 hours of community service and license suspended for 60 days.

Jovanny Martinez-Torres, 24, of Hazleton, was arrested on June 10, 2020, by Nesquehoning police for DUI of alcohol.

He was assessed $600 and ordered to render 50 hours of community service and license suspended for 60 days.

Adrian J. Rubin Jr., 40, of Lehighton, was arrested on July 11, 2021, by Lehighton police for DUI of a controlled substance.

He was assessed $600 and ordered to render 50 hours of community service and license suspended for 60 days.

Dustin Whiteman, 20, of Lehighton, was arrested on May 30, 2021, by state police at Lehighton for DUI of a controlled substance.

He was assessed $600 and ordered to render 50 hours of community service and license suspended for 90 days.

Ronald Graver, 56, of Lehighton, was arrested on Dec. 15, 2021, by state police at Lehighton for DUI of alcohol.

He was assessed $650 and ordered to render 50 hours of community service and license suspended for 60 days.

Kimberly Ann Nenscel, 49, of Palmerton, was arrested on Sept. 5, 2021, by state police at Lehighton for DUI of alcohol.

She was assessed $550 and ordered to render 50 hours of community service and her license suspended for 30 days.

Isahiah Dwayne Odom, 32, of Lehighton, was arrested on June 6, 2021, by state police at Lehighton for DUI of alcohol.

He was assessed $550 and ordered to render 50 hours of community service and license suspended for 60 days.

Christopher Steven Tarn, 33, of Slatington, was arrested on May 30, 2201, by state police at Lehighton for DUI of alcohol.

He was assessed $500 and ordered to render 50 hours of community service and license suspended for 30 days.

Tyler J. Schock, 23, of Lehighton, was arrested on July 12, 2021, by state police at Lehighton for DUI of a controlled substance.

He was assessed $600 and ordered to render 50 hours of community service and license suspended for 60 days.

Each defendant must also pay court costs of over $1,000, a $50 per month supervision fee while in the program and follow any recommendation of their drug and alcohol evaluation.
