Those who wish to start their Valentine’s Day early can by virtue of Lehighton’s Second Saturday.

The Lehighton Downtown Partnership presents Valentine’s Day Date Night in Downtown Lehighton, where businesses will be open until 8 p.m. on Feb. 12.

Bambi Elsasser, Lehighton Main Street Manager, said shoppers can find the Valentine’s Day Heart at their favorite business and take a selfie or picture with the heart in each business they visit.

Elsasser said they should then email them to her at BambiE@carboncountychamber.org. The pictures will be posted on their Facebook page Lehighton Downtown Partnership - LDP.

The more businesses they visit, the more entries they can make to win a “Wine on the River” VIP Gift Basket.

Winners will be announced at noon Feb. 14 via Facebook live on the LDP page.
