Pedestrian killed in hit-and-run in Shenandoah

State Police at Frackville have identified the man killed in the hit and run in Shenandoah as Cristhian Perez-Gonzalez, 36, of Mahanoy City.

The driver of the vehicle has also been found, but police have not released the name.

Police are still seeking witnesses of the 5:23 a.m. incident that took place at Route 924 near Herald Road for a pedestrian struck. The victim was found in the right hand southbound lane.

Along with state police, a state police Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Specialist Unit and Forensic Services responded.
