Mr. and Mrs. Andrew J. Sherkness of Tresckow announce the engagement of their daughter Marykate to Kyle R. Gallagher, son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Gallagher of Jamison, Pennsylvania.

The bride-to-be is a 2013 graduate of Marian Catholic High School and a 2017 graduate of Susquehanna University, with a degree in accounting. She is currently employed by CFGI and is an accounting advisory manager. She is the granddaughter of Mrs. Mary Ann McCall and the late Thomas J. McCall of Summit Hill and Mr. and Mrs. Andrew W. Sherkness of McAdoo.

The groom-to-be is a 2012 graduate of Central Bucks High School South and a 2016 graduate of Bloomsburg University with a degree in accounting. He received his masters in accounting from LaSalle University in 2017. He is currently employed as a CPA with PWC as a financial due diligence senior associate. He is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Charles R. Schmidgall and the late Mr. and Mrs. Thomas F. Gallagher Sr.

The couple both reside in Collegeville, Pennsylvania, and will exchange vows on Aug. 13, 2022.
