State police at Frackville investigated a one-vehicle crash at 9:48 a.m. on Jan. 9 along Route 443 (Clamtown Road), in East Brunswick Township, Schuylkill County.

Troopers said Amanda L. McCue, 29, of Tamaqua, was driving a 2012 Ford Focus westbound when she lost control due to road conditions. The vehicle crossed over the eastbound lane and onto the berm where it struck an embankment area. She was initially trapped in the vehicle before fire personnel arrived on scene. She had minor injuries and was evaluated at the scene by New Ringgold ambulance personnel. The vehicle was towed.

She was cited for driving a vehicle at a unsafe speed.
