Bowmanstown Borough Council took the following action last week:
• Agreed to purchase 10 tons of cold patch at a cost of roughly $1,600.
• Tabled the low-income household water assistance program for wastewater.
• Borough engineer Jessica Rehrig announced the borough is awaiting a work schedule from Lehigh Asphalt to resume drainage activities on Craig Street this month. All winter work will be weather dependent.
• Rehrig announced the Carbon County Office of Planning was contacted with regard to the 2021 Community Development Block Grant project application for a portion of Lincoln Avenue. She said the county indicated that the project was not selected for funding this year.
• Rehrig announced it was coordinated with borough solicitor James Preston and the potential developers of Meadowcrest open lots.
• Rehrig announced a year-end summary report of the various engineering related projects performed by Alfred Benesch & Company last year was prepared for borough council.
