A Lake Hauto, Nesquehoning, man died in a crash Friday night in Rush Township.

Schuylkill County Coroner Dr. David Moylan III said Anthony J. Arnoldi, 52, died from crash injuries. He said Deputy Coroner Andrew Szczyglak pronounced him dead at the scene 12:35 a.m. Saturday.

State police at Frackville said the crash happened at 11:37 p.m. at Route 54 and Ye Old Hauto Road. Police said Arnoldi was driving a 1997 Cadillac Eldorado when he lost control on a curve, went off the road into a drainage ditch and continued 50 feet where he hit a tree.
