Pleasant Valley graduate Luke Valdevit posted a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) qualifying mark in ESU’s first indoor track competition of the season.

The Effort native carried over his momemtum from the cross country season onto the track as he finished the mile in 4:24.93 to place sixth in the event.

Valdevit was one of nine on the ESU men’s track and field team to earn a qualifying mark.

The senior enjoyed an impressive cross country season, which he capped with a team-best 30th place at the NCAA Atlantic Region Championships. The former PV athlete posted a time of 32:25.7 on the 10k course.

Valdevit and the rest of the Warriors return to action on Saturday, Jan. 22 when they travel to Bucknell for the Gulden Invitational at Gerhard Fieldhouse.
