State police at Schuylkill Haven reported on the following incidents in Schuylkill County:

• On Dec. 20 at 5:41 p.m. troopers conducted a traffic stop of a 2004 Hyundai Santa Fee along Route 61 in North Manheim Township, for a traffic violation. The driver, identified as David Frangioudakis, 33, of Lansford, was found to be in possession of a concealed firearm without a valid license.

• On Jan. 3 at 3:22 p.m. troopers responded to a three-vehicle crash along South Sillyman Street in Cressona borough, involving a school bus which was not carrying any students. Upon investigation at the scene witnesses reported that Nicholas Trumbo, 41, of Friedensburg, was driving a 2005 Dodge Chrysler erratically before the crash. His vehicle crashed into a 2017 Subaru Impreza before crashing into the school bus.

Trumbo was found to be impaired and placed under arrest for DUI of alcohol. Charges to be filed.

• Justin Kramer, 42, of New Philadelphia, is facing drug possession charges after a traffic stop made by state police at the Schuylkill Haven barracks at 4:23 p.m. Dec. 20.

Police said they stopped the 1997 Dodge Durango at the intersection of South Pine and Oak streets in East Norwegian Township and found Kramer to be in possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.

• A 37-year-old man from Orwigsburg told police cash totaling $2,316 was stolen from him between 8 p.m. Dec. 18 and 8:30 p.m. Dec. 20 along Route 61 in North Manheim Township.

• On Jan. 6 at 6:19 a.m. troopers responded to the parking lot of a Turkey Hill market located along Pine Street in Port Carbon borough for a report of a woman slumped over the wheel of a 2014 Volkswagen Passat.

• Troopers found Crystal Wilson, 30, of Ashland to be driving while under the influence and was placed under arrest for DUI.

• On Jan. 6 at 2:29 a.m. troopers responded to Mountain Drive in Norwegian Township. On scene troopers learned that Michael Smerlick, 23, of Pottsville, was engaged in an argument with a 55-year-old woman from Pottsville which turned physical. Smerlick’s shoulder bumped the female causing her to fall to the ground and smash her head on the floor causing a gash.

Smerlick was charged with simple assault.
