Emergency personnel were dispatched to a crash involving several trapped and injured people Sunday morning in East Brunswick Township. The crash occurred about 9 a.m. along Route 443 near the intersection with Schuylkill Road. The driver was traveling west and descending a mountain when the car spun out on an ice covered roadway, crossed the three lanes of the road and hit an embankment. The injured were treated at the scene by members of the New Ringgold ambulance. The Community fire company responded. State police at Frackville are investigating the incident.
