A Schuylkill County driver was cited following a one-vehicle crash that occurred about 12:01 a.m. on Jan. 2 along Route 61 in Port Clinton borough.

State police at Hamburg said Daniel K. Figura, 23, of New Ringgold, was driving a 2016 Chevrolet Silverado in the right lane while northbound when he lost control. The truck crossed onto the shoulder and struck an embankment.

After impact, the truck continued riding the embankment until it came to final rest facing north.

Figura was not injured. He was cited for driving a vehicle at an unsafe speed.
