Mahoning Township supervisors will sport a different look this year.

Supervisors at their reorganization meeting on Monday appointed Supervisor Robert Slaw as board chairman.

A motion to name a board vice chairman was tabled.

Other appointments:

• Natalie Haggerty, secretary/treasurer, $24.97 an hour.

• Barbara Kester, clerk, $16.17 an hour.

• Nanovic Law Office, Tom Nanovic, solicitor

• Engineer, tabled

• Nevin Frey, roadmaster, $27.20 an hour.

• Gabriel Szozda, part-time police officer, $27 an hour.

• Tabled supervisor to oversee the police department

• Tabled appointment of zoning officer

• Tabled appointment of supervisor to oversee road department

• Appointed Christopher Moses, Nicholas Steigerwalt, Alex Hawk and Ronald Wenrich as part-time winter road department workers at a rate of $20 per hour if they hold a Class B CDL; $18 an hour for all others.

• All supervisors are authorized to work in 2022 if needed and qualified to do the work.

• Recommended the board of auditors a rate of pay for working supervisors at $20 an hour for Class B CDL work (only), and $15 an hour for all other work performed.

• Set rate of pay for zoning hearing board secretary at $85 per meeting.

• Set rate of pay for planning commission recording secretary at $95 per meeting if and when someone is appointed.

• Robert Slaw, representative to the Lehigh Canal Recreation Commission.
