The Carbon County Commissioners acted on the following items during their weekly meeting, held Monday instead of Thursday, immediately following the annual salary board meeting.

The next commissioners’ meeting is at 10:30 a.m. on Jan. 13.

• Adopted a resolution naming Mauch Chunk Trust Company of Jim Thorpe as the bank depository for the county.

• Adopted a resolution recognizing Gail Alice Berger of Palmerton on her retirement.

Personnel

• Changes of status: Samantha Ciallella of Jim Thorpe, from human resources assistant to human resources benefits and billing coordinator; and Julie Walker of Jim Thorpe, from TANF coordinator/case manager to TANF caseworker, PCWDA, both effective Jan. 3.
