Judgments recorded

• Midland Credit Management Inc., San Diego, California, has placed on record three judgments it received in its favor.

The first recording is against Michelle Zahariev, 145 W. White St., Summit Hill.

The judgment, in the amount of $2,706.75, was ordered by Magisterial District Judge Casimir T. Kosciolek of Lansford on Jan. 18, 2021.

The second judgment is against Christianna N. Hahn, 1304 Red Hill Road, Lehighton.

The judgment, in the amount of $1,422.45, was ordered by Magisterial District Judge William Kissner of Palmerton on Aug. 2, 2021.

The third judgment is against Tina Wing, 14 E. Third St., Jim Thorpe.

The judgment, in the amount of $8,594.64, was ordered by Magisterial District Judge Eric M. Schrantz of Jim Thorpe on Aug. 17, 2020.

• The Andrew P. Ovsak Funeral Home, 190 S. Fourth St., Lehighton, has placed on record a judgment it received in its favor against Terrie L. Farenkopf, 220 E. Bertsch St., Lansford, and Alice M. Binder, 300 N. Eighth St., Lehighton.

The judgment, in the amount of $7,843.05, was ordered by Magisterial District Judge Eric M. Schrantz of Jim Thorpe on Feb. 23, 2021.

• Alliance Servicing LLC has placed on record a judgment it received in its favor in the Bucks County Court of Common Pleas.

It is against Asstha Real Estate Investments, Shatrughan Sinha, Puneet Sinha and Aastha Properties LLC, all of Princeton, New Jersey.

The judgment is in the amount of $364,844 and pertain to properties in Tobyhanna.

Mortgage foreclosures

Community Loan Servicing, Bayview Loan Servicing LLC and M&T Bank, all of Buffalo, New York, have filed a mortgage foreclosure complaint against Xue Pin Chen, 141-145 Carbon St., Weatherly, over a property at that address.

Sought is judgment in the amount of $140,893.28 plus attorney fees.

Loan Funder LLC, New York, New York, has filed a mortgage foreclosure complaint against 197 S. Lake Dr Holdings LLC, Blakeslee, over a property at 197 S. Lake Drive, Lake Harmony.

Sought is judgment in the amount of $518,680.53.

Seeks trash fees

The Borough of Lansford, with offices at 1 W. Ridge St., has filed a municipal lien claim against John Hower and Sylvia Faenza, 216 W. Water St., in the amount of $1,061.61

The borough contends the lien represents outstanding trash fees owed by the defendants for the years 2019 and 2020 for property at that address.

Negligence suit filed

Julie Jablonsky, 200 Sunrise Drive, Lehighton, has filed a civil complaint against the Tractor Supply Company, 486 Blakeslee Blvd. Drive W., Lehighton, and an unidentified person labeled John Doe, alleging negligence in three counts.

The suit contends on July 9, 2020, the plaintiff went to the store in an attempt to secure an assembled animal carrier, at which time defendant Doe scaled a ladder in attempting to maneuver the carrier and in doing so negligently dropped it onto the plaintiff, causing her serious injuries.

The plaintiff is seeking $50,000 for each of three counts, including negligence of the store, negligent hiring and retention of employment and supervision on the part of the store, and negligence on the part of defendant Doe.

Owners’ association sued

Inna Muchnik and Michael Muchnik, 599 Old Stage Road, Albrightsville, have filed a civil complaint against the Towamensing Trails Property Owners Association, Route 903, Albrightsville, individually and on behalf of their 16-year-old daughter.

The suit contends on July 3, 2021, the minor was walking upon the parking lot of the association, near the community swimming pool, when she was caused to trip and fall as a result of a hole, crack and/or depression in the lot, causing her to sustain serious injuries.

The plaintiffs are seeking $50,000 for each of two counts of negligence.
