Summit Hill Borough secretary Kira Steber reminds residents of changes to the borough garbage pickups in the new year.

Starting Jan. 1, 2022, garbage pickup day will be Monday. Make sure to put your garbage out Sunday night for Monday pickup.

There will be no recycling collection. Please combine recyclables with the regular garbage.

Ashes may continue to be placed out in cans. Do not put ashes in garbage bags.

The cost for the year will be $240 or $60 a quarter. You are able to pay your bill in full for the year.

Garbage bills are quarterly and will be mailed/emailed on or around Jan. 15, April 15, July 15 and Oct. 15.
